Are you teachable? You know we do not have to walk alone in our path to success. I believe that in order to ROAR as a leader one has to consistently seek knowledge and wisdom from others who have successfully made their own mark in their careers. Knowledge is the fuel of excellence. Today’s technology allows us so many choices on how to engage the knowledge: videos, audios, digital books, my favorite is still to pick up a book and hold it in my hands, but I have to tell you, this year I have learned to download, tune in, add to my playlists, and well…let’s just say technology has opened more opportunities for how I can read and learn! Later this year I’ll share with you some of my own lessons and experiences in leading. Isn’t it important to have flexibility in your daily choices?
You see, I believe wisdom comes from tuning into how and what great leaders do then engaging that excellence in your own life. We often can gain so much by actively participating in our own self chosen courses in leadership. It’s not just how to sell products, lead others, or communicate, it’s about looking at the successes and the struggles of real life people presently as well as those from the past. You know if we do not learn to recognize the patterns of the past, we’re going to repeat the mistakes of them. Are you reading enough to spark your mind? To problem solve your weak areas and fuel your excellence? Do you “wing it” or actively work your mind and your business to support a meaningful and prosperous life?
Today I thought I would share my favorite ten classic books on leadership and sales. Would you like to know them? There are literally hundreds of books on my shelves, and I’ve read them every one, but these ten continue to make a difference in my daily life, not just my business life and I want you to consider reading them!
Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill
Psycho-Cybernetics – Maxwell Maltz
The Magic of Thinking Big – David Schwartz
The Magic of Believing – Claude M. Bristol

If you choose to purchase a copy of these books from Amazon, I ask that you consider going from here to Amazon, you see I support many charities, it is my pleasure to do so, and any proceeds from my pages here, will be donated to a center for pregnant girls choosing to have their babies. Now that’s a great reason to treat yourself to a lesson on leadership! *when you purchase a book, a tiny percentage will go to a charity. I encourage you to also choose to share your buying power through giving.
