Did you ever listen to a song and for the rest of the day that song was stuck in your head and played over and over? It isn’t bad if the song is an uplifting message then it is sort of like listening to a positive message. I often use songs during a training event to set the mood and to add to the understanding of the message. Great lyrics not only can speak to our minds but they touch our hearts and so many songs from movies successfully do this.
I just read that for the first time Christmas sales for the Barbie doll have been beaten and it is due to the popularity this year of the Elsa doll from the movie Frozen. Of course because of the story line of the movie but I would venture to say that the song “LET IT GO” has captured the hearts of children everywhere and I bet there are a few adults with the lyrics and tune playing in their head. I find this really interesting … Interesting in a very good way that even children are drawn toward an inspiring message. A message that encourages us to be real; authentic! “Authenticity is actually a collection of choices, choices that we make every day. It’s the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. How important as leaders that we guide woman to be authentic and to believe in themselves. To feel they are enough … Women have to believe in their uniqueness and their self worth. Recently I had a wonderful opportunity to see a video called ‘WHO YOU ARE”.. a message to all women. A message I want to share with you.
