Twas days before Christmas at my laptop I sat Thinking and thinking of a blog post to create.
Thursday is my blog day and this year a holiday, too, A day filled with festivities, friends and so much to do.
I knew for sure no eyes would be wanting to read A post on courage, empowerment or any business need.
My thoughts wandered to just Wishing Merriment Then I came to my senses knowing after Christmas blog reading would again commence.
I thought Attention soon will be focused on the New Year ahead Wondering if it will be blissful or full of dread.
So my message to those who have my blog posts read Is of encouragement to take time to think of the year ahead.
Some will make a resolution or two But I would suggest instead making “choices” will do.
(End of rhyme…aren’t you glad?)
Choices in how you want to live….Choices for your business ….Choices with whom you want to spend time ….
Making choices to design the life you want to live is a gift; an opportunity to relive the glorify days of your life by repeating the actions and experiences that are joyful and beneficial. Choices allow us to change and take a different direction, set a new goal or adjust our behavior. Choices lead to decisions…. Some will be Choices that may lead us in a new direction; to either let go or hold on.
Like the saying goes, “If we keep doing what we keep doing than you will keep getting what you have been getting.”
Now that the year is coming to a close, may I encourage you to take some quiet time to reflect on the Choices you want to make for your life? Resolutions come and go but choices lead to change that can give you power over your life.
I’d like to share something I read recently;
I CHOOSE TO LIVE BY CHOICE NOT BY CHANGE.
TO BE MOTIVATED NOT MANIPULATED.
TO BE USEFUL NOT USED.
TO MAKE CHANGE NOT EXCUSES.
TO EXCEL NOT COMPETE.
TO CHOOSE SELF-ESTEEM NOT SELF-PITY
TO CHOOSE TO LISTEN TO MY INNER VOICE,
NOT TO LISTEN TO THE RANDOM OPINIONS OF OTHERS.
Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” -Nido Qubein

What choices will you make to design the year of your dreams? Would love to hear your comments… –
