If you want more success start thinking of yourself as a success.” Another great quote comes from the fun and creative Dr. Seuss books, “You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose!” ~ Dr. Seuss
These quotes might start you thinking about your own success. I believe that success is an ‘inside job’ and our present results are the outer reflection of our belief system. Many people seeking success think if they just do more, work harder it will propel them to higher levels of success but working harder is not the key to reaching your dreams. Yes, action-steps are vital in pursuit of goal achievement but before taking action, first you need to change your thinking from limiting beliefs to confident expectation.
Change starts with becoming aware of what you are thinking and taking the time to listen to your internal voice.
Interrupting the on-going chatter (in your mind) of limiting beliefs. Saying, “STOP” to those internal messages and then replacing them with positive comments and through repetition you can reprogram your thinking. From Limiting to Expansive … From Frustration to Hopeful … From Small Thinking to Audacious Possibilities. What you think about you do bring about!!!
I have put together a list I will call The ABC’s of Success. A list of Positive Thoughts to Ponder. One for each of the 26 letters in the alphabet …. This week’s blog message will list A through M and next week’s blog will list N – Z.
The ABC’s of Success
A is for Attitude – Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative.
B is for Belief – Believe and Achieve, Doubt and do Without!
C is for Courage – “Courage does not always Roar… Sometimes courage is that quiet voice at the end of the Day saying, “Try again tomorrow”. – Mary Anne Radmacher
D is for Determination -Determination is doing whatever needs to be done even when you’re don’t feel like doing it.
E is for Energy – Everything is energy, it starts with your thought, your emotion amplifies it and your action increases the momentum. – Unknown
F is for Focus – Be about Actions not Distractions.
G is for Gratitude – Gratitude is the gateway to Abundance. Create a Gratitude journal and add at least 5 things you are grateful for to it each day,
H is for Harmony – “Life is not a race but a journey to be savored each step of the way. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift.” – unknown
J is for Joy – Do everything with joy. Take time to bless what you are doing, the people you are working with and the opportunity you have to do it.
K is for Kindness – “I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – William Penn
L is for Legacy – “If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are an excellent leader.” – John Quincy Adams
